PRO SHOP RULES: 

  1. No more than one foursome in the Pro Shop at one time. 
  2. Please do not hang out in the Proshop or by the front door once you are done with your business inside. 
  3. Please abide by the 6 ft social distance rules (Lines placed on the floor in front of the counter)

NEW RULES FOR PAYING OPTIONS:

  1. BOOK & PAY ONLINE at https://turnbullbay.teesnap.net/ Do it at home or from your phone in the parking lot
  2. Pay over the Phone when booking 
  3. Read us your Credit Card Number at Front Desk
  4. Store your Credit Card under your profile (Safe & Secure) – Our Favorite and Easiest 
  5. Purchase a Gift Card then just read us your Gift Card #
  6. Purchase Club Credit Online and add money to your profile 
  7. Purchase an Annual or Monthly Membership or Punch Card

To Minimize Contact in the Pro Shop, we are asking all golfers to please try to purchase your rounds of golf in the following way to help us stay open and to keep all employees and customer safe and healthy

We will continue to keep the golf course open as long as we deem it safe for our customers and staff. We will continue to update you if things change. Some changes have occured since the last update. Below is a list to help us and you stay safe during these times.

5th Course Update – Thursday, April 2nd, 2020

Golf is considered an essential recreational activity, as long as proper social distancing is maintained. We will continue to stay open during this time with changes to comply with CDC and State Regulations. 

Course Changes: 4/2/20

Pro Shop – Only one foursome group allowed in shop at a time. 

Paying for Golf – Can still pay the old fashion way, but have implemented other options. Purchase rounds online, pay over the phone, Purchase Club Credit or Gift Cards on our website, or put your credit card on your profile (secure and safe). With those options we can minimize contact or not even come into the pro shop. 

Carts – We will do are best in limiting one cart per golfer but we only have so many carts. If you ride together in the same car then we ask that you please take a cart together. We still request that you please throw away your trash in the cart when you finish. 

Groups – We are no longer booking shotgun groups during this time. Groups can play regular tee times and can be discussed with group leaders when booking (restrictions on group size will apply due to carts).

Essential Activities under the EO includes in Section 3 A. ii :

Participating in recreational activities (consistent with social distancing guidelines) such as walking, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, running, or swimming; and…

Accordingly, and as confirmed by the Governor’s Office, golf is considered a recreational activity under the clause of “such as” for the purpose of this order.  

Please note that it is impractical for the legislature or the Governor’s Office to name with exact specificity, every conceivable, acceptable recreational activity that people engage in. Accordingly, they utilized the phrase “such as”.

Some counties in Florida have specified that golf courses in their county are closed and these county orders should be followed.

When playing or practicing golf during the Coronavirus crisis, players should follow all suggested social distancing guidelines.

Stay at Home order includes golf as an acceptable activity

TAMPA, Fla. – On Wednesday, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order 2020-91. The EO states that effective April 3 at 12:01 a.m., all persons in Florida shall limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities until April 30. Per confirmation from the Governor’s Office, Golf is considered an essential recreational activity, as long as proper social distancing is maintained.

The Preserve at Turnbull Bay will continue to stay open!

We will continue to keep the golf course open as long as we deem it safe for our customers and staff. We will continue to update you if things change. Some changes have occured since the last update. Below is a list to help us and you stay safe during these times.

Update: 3/20/20

1. If you are sick or know someone that is sick, do us all a favor and stay home. Golf and The Preserve will still be here we you are better or know you are now sick.

2. You can know book and pay for your tee times on our website to minimize contact with staff and other customers or over the phone when calling in and booking. We can still check you in at the front desk, but we do have more options to pay to minimize contact. https://turnbullbay.teesnap.net/ 

3. We also offer walking rates, it’s a great way to play golf and keep your distance. 

4. The Refreshment/Snack Bar is still open for food and drink orders to go, but we are no longer able to keep the back patio open for enjoying food and a beverage after your round. (You can however, sit out in the grass and enjoy the sunshine. Just bring a blanket)

5. We please ask that after your round, please throw away your trash in your cart with the trash cans provided. We are trying to keep our staff from having to touch dirty towels, tissues or food containers left in the carts.

6. Just remember to social distance when playing and if you are not feeling well (STAY HOME).

The Preserve at Turnbull Bay is still and will continue to stay open for regular business hours. We will be taking all necessary precautions with the current virus with updated and more frequent cleaning of facilities.

We will continue to monitor the situation for the safety of the staff and players, but will continue to operate as normal since contact with large groups of people is limited when playing golf. As normal if you are not feeling well, please take the right steps from spreading whatever aliment may be inflicting your body. Just be mindful of your wellbeing and your playing partners. We will keep any groups being paired together in separate carts as much as we can given the amount of play.

Men’s League

All are welcome to come and join our Men’s League. They play every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 am. Get the group rate price and $5 for the stableford game. You can play one or all days, whatever fits your schedule. Then enjoys a cold drink afterwards. Good and friendly group with all handicaps welcome. Come on out today!

Saturday Sixes – Stableford Game

Come and join us for the Saturday Sixes Game, every Saturday at 8 am. Open to all golfers!

Cost is $30 for golf and $25 for the game and includes free small range bucket.

Game includes 3 – 6 hole stableford games, Skins, Closest to Pins and Overall

Must have a handicap at the start with group.

Contact the pro shop for more details, arrive be 7:45 to get in the game.
