This course was built back in 1995 and was formally known as Turnbull Bay Golf Course and since has gone through many changes on and off the course. In the summer of 2008, the greens were replaced with a new type of turfgrass called Seashore Paspalum, which does not require overseeding in the winter. The new greens combined with Bermuda fairways, oaks, palms, and water on 17 of 18 holes makes this par 72 6,500 yard layout a challenge for any type of golfer. The other major change of late besides the name are the new owners of The Preserve at Turnbull Bay in New Smyrna Beach.
Robert and Bonny Wrobel with their two sons Chris and Bobby, born and raised here in New Smyrna Beach, are the new owners of The Preserve at Turnbull Bay; a life long dream for the family. The new owners can be found working the grounds of the course any day of the week so they can be proud to call it their own.
The Wrobel's will be implementing many changes to the golf course over the next few years. Come on out for a round of golf and see for yourself or checkout the website for upcoming events or book a tee time for your next outing.
